- Long Sault had some great highs and lows for the
team... as a low, our #1 prop which has served us well for a few years and
proven it's one of the best there is finally fatigued and broke :( And
even with 2 of 3 blades we managed a 4th. The highs, the back up prop
proved it's worth by leaving the competitors in the spray on Sunday and the
Team Gang-Green brought home the gold. The flashy graphic done by Imprint
Signs on our hulls also attracted the attention of tv station The New OR
from Ottawa. The did a short interview of driver Andrew Fralick and
asked to tell what the sport was all about. Long Sault is a beautiful
place with terrific facilities. A great party was held for the drivers
and crews on Saturday night.
- Long Sault closed the racing season for CBF
Sanctioned competition. It was a close race for class ASR with first
through third only having a difference of 251 points. A first place finish
is worth 400 points, so that's some close competition. Andrew brought
home a 3rd place over all in the national points race. In class ASH
Andrew also placed 3rd in the national points race, but the spread was much
great. Still a great accomplishment.
- Some of the Team also made it the last local race in
upstate NY. But with poor weather conditions and a driver unfamilur
with the boat it was a tough battle.

- Thanks goes out to SplitFire for adding us to their
corporate website www.SplitFire.com!
Tony Asevedo of SplitFire let us know that we'd been added under their
Motorcycles and Marine page and also on their racing page.
- The Sydenham, Ontario race has come and gone.
A family emergency kept away for Saturday's racing but Sunday we threw coal
on the fire to make up for it! In Class A Stock Hydro Andrew nailed
the start and fought it out hard with past Junior Champion Sherry Stevenson
for three solid laps. At times the two were only inches apart and
there was once scare when Stevenson lost control momentarily due to rough
water and almost ran into Andrew. This incident on the final lap let
Andrew pull ahead from the side by side action and take the win for heat
two. Heat one was more congested at the start line and Andrew came in
a respectable 4th. This got the team an overall 2nd place win for the
day.
- Next stop, Long Sault, Ontario for the final
Canadian sanctioned race of the year! The points battle is on down to
the last race and win on our part and poor finish by a couple close
competitors could bring us home another Championship.

- The Waterford, Ontario race on June 23, 24 was
a huge success for our club and the team had a great weekend as well.
Making it to the finals and taking home a 3rd place over all in
"A" Stock Hydroplane on Saturday. On Sunday the battle was
long a spectacular in A Stock Hydro, with Andrew battle for first for 3 laps
inches apart from the competitor on the inside. In the final lap #8
Scott Knox slipped by and took the win. In heat two it was again
Andrew and a competitor battling for first for a solid 3 laps. This
time #10 Glen Stevenson on the outside. And even closer race but Glen
managing to make his way by in the last corner to take the win.
Controversy so popped up as the crowded start could not be made out by the
video system to see if there were any illegal starters. The result,
the race was not recorded and was re run... After nailing the start in the
first two heats, Andrew's luck had run out and he could not make it to the
front. Later in the day he redeemed himself with 2nd place finish
overall in class A Stock Runabout!
- Waterford, Ontario was also another testing ground
for the new on board computer system for the team. It was a flying
success after 3 years of hard work. It records speed, rpm and lap
times into a computer for analyzing after the event by lap top. It's
the first of it's kind in our sport and is sure to help us fine tune out
outfits for maximum performance.
- Due to the team relocating in Mississauga, we will
be unable to make it to the Sault Ste. Marie race.
- Next stop, Sydenham, Ontario, near Kingston on

- The team made it's first road trip of the year, down
to Franklin, Pennsylvania. It was a great weekend with a huge 162 boat
turnout. We raced in 2 classes, ASH and ASR. In class ASR heat 1
we took second place and backed it up with a 5th in the next heat for a 4th
overall. Class ASH was a little more hectic but we finished about mid
pack in 7th or so over all. The main goal of the weekend was to get
our Data Logger Computer system working. It's the first of it's kind
in our sport and will prove very useful. It's on board computer that
records vital engine info, speed and lap times for the duration of the
race. We've got the bugs worked out and the next race will be the true
test.
- Next race... Waterford, Ontario June 22 and

Mississauga
- Photo's of the new boat have been added. See
the "Team Stuff!" section. Chris
Payne of Imprint Signs did a great
job under pressure. The boat will be heading back to the shop for
completion (need some GREEN on there! LOL) in February.
- Well after many hours of hard work in the Imprint
Signs shop the Gang-Green class A Hydro looks amazing! It was being
over hauled for the Canadian Boating Federations display at the
Toronto International Boat Show. The only problem... after all
this hard work the team was disappointed to hear that the show sold out and had a
waiting list for booths. The racing displays take a lot of space and
room was not available. This was a first. Maybe next year.
We still expect to be in the Toronto Sportsmen's Show and are working on
other events too.
- The boat does look great and we will have pictures
posted very soon.
